The basic principles of PID control
PID control is a feedback control algorithm whose core principle is to calculate the control signal through three components: proportional, integral, and derivative.
Specifically:
Proportional (P) control: Directly reflects the error signal of the control system proportionally, used to reduce system error.
Integral (I) control: Integrates the error to eliminate steady-state error, but may reduce the system's response speed.
Derivative (D) control: Differentiates the error to predict the trend of error change, reducing overshoot and oscillation, and accelerating the system's response speed.
